就美國總統特朗普決定對中國進口商品征收額外關稅一事，美國全國零售聯盟NRF主席兼CEO馬修（Matthew Shay）日前發表聲明：

關于這一政策，如同數千企業已經解釋和作證中表述的一樣，關稅是對美國家庭的一項稅收。令人失望的是，盡管有這些不同的聲音，政府仍將實施這項有害的關稅政策，這可能將會削弱美國的經濟。

每一次貿易戰升級，美國消費者的風險也在升級。最近的這些關稅政策，很多辛苦工作的美國人將會很快感覺到購物賬單金額變得更高，預算變得緊張。

我們不能承受成本的進一步上升，特別是一年一度的購物季即將到來。零售商非常關心對中國進口商品征收關稅一事，因為這一量級的關稅政策，將會影響美國人生活的方方面面。當美國家庭被迫為他們的日常支出支付更高的價格時，達成更好的貿易條款應該是更優先考慮的。

“As thousands ofbusinesses have testified and explained in comments to the administration,tariffs are a tax on American families. It’s disappointing that, despite thevoices of those impacted, the administration continues to advance harmfultariff policies that threaten to weaken the U.S. economy.

“Every time thistrade war escalates, the risk to U.S. consumers grows. With these latesttariffs, many hardworking Americans will soon wonder why their shopping billsare higher and their budgets feel stretched.
